Signia Launches New Active Pro IX Earbuds with Advanced Hearing Aid Features

Hearing aid manufacturer Signia has announced the upcoming release of its new Active Pro IX earbuds, part of its Integrated Xperience (IX) platform. These earbuds, which also qualify as prescription-grade hearing aids, offer cutting-edge multi-stream technology capable of identifying multiple conversation partners in real time. Through the RealTime Conversation Enhancement tool, users can focus on multiple speakers simultaneously, improving conversations in dynamic environments. Signia's beamforming technology augments sound input by splitting and independently processing signals from the front and back of the wearer, further enhancing hearing clarity.

The Active Pro IX earbuds feature a contemporary design aimed at users who need hearing assistance but are hesitant to adopt traditional hearing aids. Jens Møller, Signia's global head, highlighted that this new product empowers wearers to engage fully in conversations, regardless of their surroundings. The company plans to release the earbuds, along with the Signia Active IX line, in the U.S. market in December 2024.

Signia is also rolling out other products under the Integrated Xperience platform, including the Signia IX Essentials hearing aid line, offering extended performance levels across select product categories. The company's ongoing efforts include providing hearing aids to military veterans and expanding discreet, self-fitting options to accommodate various customer needs, aligning with broader industry trends in hearing aid innovation and accessibility.
