Proscia, a leading digital pathology solutions provider, has forged a partnership with Pramana, an AI-enabled health tech company specialising in modernising the pathology sector. This collaboration positions Pramana as a Proscia Ready partner, joining forces to advance the adoption of digital pathology across life sciences organisations and diagnostic laboratories. Proscia Ready, with its Concentriq enterprise pathology platform, offers flexibility by seamlessly integrating with various hardware and software solutions. The partnership aims to enhance laboratory workflows by integrating Pramana's SpectralHT family of scanners with Concentriq, enabling laboratories to benefit from Pramana's innovative whole slide imaging approach in their daily operations.
Pramana's SpectralHT scanners feature automatic quality assessment, image enrichment capabilities, and valuable metadata, all delivered in a standardised DICOM format. The scanners also include an in-line quality assurance module, ensuring a high rate of first-pass success in generating whole slide images. This collaboration underscores a commitment to expanding the potential of pathology data, providing pathologists and scientists with richer images to make more informed decisions. The integration aims to capitalise on the standardisation provided by DICOM, offering customers increased benefits in their pathology-related processes.
Arun Ananth, Proscia's Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about welcoming Pramana to the Proscia Ready partnership, emphasising how Pramana's capabilities in pathology data expansion align with the broader mission to empower professionals in the field with enhanced imaging solutions and standardised practices.
