Following the bankruptcy of online birth control pharmacy The Pill Club in April, Thirty Madison, a chronic care management platform, has acquired the assets of the company to ensure continuity of care for its patients.
According to Axios, Thirty Madison, based in New York, purchased more than 100,000 patient files from The Pill Club for $32.3 million.
Through this strategic asset acquisition, Thirty Madison aims to provide ongoing care to the acquired patient cohort under its Nurx brand. Nurx is a direct-to-consumer women's health company renowned for its online birth control prescription services.
In a LinkedIn post, Thirty Madison expressed their enthusiasm for expanding their women's health offering through Nurx. They are eager to welcome the new group of patients and provide them with high-quality care that goes beyond reproductive health, including mental health, skincare, and other services to support their overall well-being.
