Trillium Health Partners first in Canada to deploy AI in diagnostic imaging with Sectra

Sectra is collaborating with Trillium Health Partners (THP) in Canada through a new AI-as-a-service agreement facilitated by Sectra Amplifier Services. 

This partnership enables THP to implement AI-powered workflows in its diagnostic imaging department, enhancing the early identification of serious health conditions for more timely interventions and improved health outcomes. 

Sectra Amplifier Service, a fully managed, cloud-hosted AI service, provides access to a variety of validated third-party AI applications. Under this service, THP gains access to AI applications and the opportunity to trial and evaluate them before integration. 

As one of Canada's leading healthcare providers, THP accommodates approximately 1.6 million patient visits annually across its three primary sites, conducting over 695,000 diagnostic tests last year alone. 

With this engagement, established in the second quarter of Sectra's 2023/2024 fiscal year, THP becomes the inaugural Canadian customer to link its Sectra Enterprise Imaging PACS to Sectra Amplifier Services.
