WHOOP and Ulta Beauty Announce Retail Partnership to Expand Access to Wearable Health Technology

WHOOP has announced a strategic retail partnership with Ulta Beauty to expand access to its wearable health technology and personalized performance insights across the United States. Beginning in March 2027, WHOOP devices will become available through Ulta.com and selected Ulta Beauty stores nationwide.

The agreement represents an expansion of WHOOP's retail distribution strategy, introducing its health monitoring technology to Ulta Beauty's customer base, which includes approximately 47 million loyalty members. The collaboration also reflects the growing convergence of consumer health, wellness, and personal care markets.

Under the partnership, participating Ulta Beauty locations will offer WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG devices alongside an exclusive selection of bands and accessories. The product range will allow consumers to access wearable health monitoring capabilities while incorporating personal preferences into device selection.

Originally developed for athletes, WHOOP's wearable technology monitors physiological indicators associated with sleep, recovery, physical strain, and daily activity. Its platform provides personalized insights intended to help users understand their health patterns and make informed decisions regarding physical activity, stress management, and long-term wellbeing.

The company's broader health monitoring ecosystem includes an FDA-cleared electrocardiogram (ECG) feature, Healthspan longevity assessments, Blood Pressure Insights, and Advanced Labs blood biomarker analysis. These capabilities reflect WHOOP's expansion beyond sports performance monitoring into broader consumer health applications.

Kyle Leahy, Chief Commercial Officer at WHOOP, commented: "Our partnership with Ulta Beauty represents an exciting opportunity to introduce WHOOP to millions of new consumers."

Leahy also highlighted opportunities for further collaboration, including the potential development of additional products and consumer experiences.

For Ulta Beauty, the agreement introduces wearable health monitoring into its existing beauty and wellness retail environment. For WHOOP, it provides an additional distribution channel through which to reach consumers who may not traditionally engage with sports-focused wearable technology.

WHOOP currently operates in 61 countries and offers its platform in six languages. The company has positioned its subscription-based wearable technology around continuous physiological monitoring and personalized health guidance.

Further details regarding participating retail locations, product availability, and associated consumer experiences are expected ahead of the March 2027 launch.
