With drug overdoses claiming 1,209 lives in Oklahoma in 2022 and 16.1% of residents affected by substance use disorders, Workit Health aims to close the treatment gap through accessible, judgment-free telehealth services. Recognizing that over 30% of Oklahomans live in rural areas with limited treatment options, Workit Health draws on its experience in rural telehealth care. A study by its research division, Workit Labs, showed a 62% three-month care retention rate among rural members, outperforming national averages.
Since its founding in 2015, Workit Health has expanded its services across several states, including Oklahoma’s neighbor Texas, since 2021.
