XRHealth has completed the acquisition of Swing Therapeutics, combining the companies’ technologies to create an expanded extended reality (XR) platform focused on chronic disease management, with an initial emphasis on fibromyalgia and chronic pain. The transaction brings together prescription digital therapeutics, virtual clinical care and extended reality technologies within a single platform designed to support continuous, personalized treatment.
A central component of the acquisition is Swing Therapeutics’ Stanza® program, the first FDA De Novo-authorized prescription digital behavioral therapeutic indicated for the treatment of fibromyalgia symptoms. The therapy is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and is supported by results from a Phase 3 randomized controlled trial published in The Lancet, demonstrating improvements in chronic pain intensity, fatigue, sleep disruption and depression among patients with fibromyalgia.
The acquisition also incorporates Swing Care, a multidisciplinary virtual specialty clinic led by Dr. Andrea Chadwick. The clinic combines digital behavioral therapy with physician-supervised medication management, providing coordinated care for individuals with chronic pain conditions.
Within XRHealth’s platform, patients can access therapeutic programs through virtual reality headsets, smartphones and wearable devices. The integrated system enables clinicians to monitor patient progress using real-time clinical data, adjust treatment plans as needed and review automated outcome tracking designed to support ongoing care management.

The combined organization operates licensed virtual clinics across 22 U.S. states and delivers care through reimbursement pathways that include Medicare Part B, Veterans Affairs programs and commercial insurance. According to reported real-world data from Swing Care’s first year of operation, 88.0% of patients experienced a statistically significant improvement in overall wellbeing based on the Patient Global Impression of Change scale, while 50.2% reported feeling “much improved” or better.
