The patient experience is becoming increasingly recognised as a major component of chronic condition treatment delivery. Understanding the end user, their needs and behaviours is hugely important in ensuring that a product has a strong market impact, and also that it generates a loyal user base. Adherence is a major metric of the patient experience, as well as a key performance indicator for a chronic disease treatment overall. Prescription refills only give a partial indication of how a patient is interacting with a treatment course. Understanding if they are being dosed correctly and what keeps them on their medication gives a much clearer overview, and will allow for more refined treatment delivery. Further, understanding the best channels to reach patients in the U.S., such as through speciality pharma, will help drive more informed adherence tactics.
Join us for a roundtable discussion in which we will deep dive into the topic of patient adherence for chronic disease. During this session, we’ll explore if we are correctly assessing adherence to treatments, how we are tackling adherence issues, and how can be improved going forward to ensure therapeutic efficacy and positive patient experiences.
