Masterclass: How to Navigate the NHS Digital Technology Assessment Criteria and NICE evidence guidelines

About this Meeting

Each Masterclass is led by an expert anchor in their field as they dive into their specialty topic in front of a small intimate audience of 8-12 participants. Masterclasses also have an interactive element, allowing you a safe space to share your thoughts and experiences as well as pose questions to the expert anchors.

Are you trying to increase adoption and use of your Digital Health solution across the UK's National Health Service?

The Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC) is designed to be used by NHS healthcare organisations to assess suppliers at the point of procurement or as part of a due diligence process, to make sure digital technologies meet the minimum baseline standards. What is expected from developers for entry into the NHS and social care?

This masterclass led by Richard Bunney (Digital Health Regulation and Compliance Lead at ETHOS Ltd.) will provide an overview of recent organisation and innovation changes in the NHS and the current landscape to identify points of entry and evolving procurement strategies. We will deep dive into:

  • The current NHS landscape: Integrated Care Boards, Systems Academic Health Science Networks, and the impact on innovation and procurement.
  • The DTAC assessment process and how to navigate it successfully. What are the requirements and prerequisites? How to successfully demonstrate compliance?
  • How to meet the NHS clinical safety standards as a DTx manufacturer?
  • Overview of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) real-world evidence (RWE) framework. What is it? How does it fit to encourage the use of RWE to reduce gaps in knowledge?
We would like to remind you that our meetings are small and intimate sessions with a limited number of seats available, therefore we rely on your attendance and participation to ensure a high quality and valuable meeting for all. If you are confirmed for this meeting we ask if you can please ensure your attendance on the day.
