Scalable Market Access Strategies Targeting Payers in the US

About this Meeting

Small, intimate and participant-led discussions tackling digital health challenges. Spaces are limited to 8 - 12 people, allowing you to focus on quality in-depth conversations.

Despite DTx gaining traction in terms of investment, adoption still remains a challenge, and DTx companies struggle to secure reimbursement. Many DTx vendors in the US have targeted payers as their market access model, however, the lack of standardization of reimbursement pathways makes scalable strategies difficult for DTx companies in the US. Currently, demands change across payer organizations, thus DTx vendors tend to approach them on a case-by-case basis, making scaling difficult. Identifying the optimal market access strategies to target and scale within the US payer system is challenging, both in terms of engaging the different types of payers (e.g. Medicaid/Medicare, commercial payers, etc.) and negotiating contract terms to ensure long-term success beyond pilots or small-scale projects.

How can DTx vendors in the US establish scalable market access strategies to gain reimbursement across different payers and geographies? Join this meeting for senior leaders in DTx to deep dive into the following:

  • Building an evidence base that is applicable to multiple payers. How can DTx startups best engage payers, in a market with considerable inter-payer differences in populations and DTx requirements (eg clinical, economic and engagement data requirements)? How can DTx vendors with limited resources successfully build an evidence base?
  • Demonstrating long term value to payers. How can DTx companies best demonstrate economic and cost-effectiveness? How can DTx maximize their impact when speaking to payers?
  • Scalable pricing models. What are the most scalable pricing models for both DTx and payers? (e.g. pay per monthly user, pay per healthcare cost reduction, etc.)
  • Current reimbursement regulatory frameworks in the U.S. Do the current reimbursement regulatory frameworks allow for scalable market access strategies? Does the new legislation in the US  provide standardization of policies? What other legislation will we see introduced  in the next year?
  • Standardization of reimbursement requirements. How can payers be incentivized to standardize their requirements for DTx vendors? What cross-industry initiatives are we seeing that advocate for the standardization of reimbursement requirements?
  • Real examples: Best practices, learnings and contracting expectations for long term success.
We would like to remind you that our meetings are small and intimate sessions with a limited number of seats available, therefore we rely on your attendance and participation to ensure a high quality and valuable meeting for all. If you are confirmed for this meeting we ask if you can please ensure your attendance on the day.
