From Data to Action: Using Member-Reported Data to Mitigate Risk

About this Webinar

Health plans can use patterns (or "constellations") of self-reported member data, such as survey responses in DSNP (Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans) Health Risk Assessments (HRAs), to proactively identify and address rising health risks before they appear in claims data. Instead of simply completing surveys for compliance, CMS now wants plans to collect and document self-reported health risks from members through DSNP Health Risk Assessments. By analyzing multiple pieces of self-reported data together, rather than in isolation, health plans will now be able to predict potential health issues and intervene quickly—without relying on slow, manual processes or waiting for claims to confirm a problem. Learn how to use this data effectively to improve risk mitigation and member outcomes!

Attendees will come away with:

  1. Strategies to leverage combinations of survey responses that can identify areas of rising risk

  2. Examples of combinations of cost drivers that are of highest value to mitigate

  3. Value drivers that stakeholders can use to demonstrate the efficacy of early identification and intervention
