Program focus
1. We are seeking for transformative ideas and solutions that can help the discovery, activation/engagement and support of patients with late onset of rare disease signs and symptoms. 
2. Accelerate the diagnosis by activating people living with rare diseases and obtain a referral to a specialist.
3. We are looking for ideas that are innovative, scalable, feasible, compliant and, ideally, with a fast time to market.

In particular, such solutions and ideas should focus on patients with rare diseases suffering from neuromuscular disorders with symptoms and signs such as muscle weakness, loss of touch, impaired balance and coordination leading to difficulty in walking as well as patients suffering from tremors, twitching and even breathing problems.

These rare disease conditions are normally genetic, requiring a genetic test to be performed for proper diagnosis. We welcome any ideas which help Biogen to accelerate disease awareness, patient engagement and to develop diagnostic and educational tools.
