Candid Health has raised $120 million in Series D funding to accelerate the growth of its artificial intelligence-powered revenue cycle management platform for healthcare providers. Sixth Street Growth led the round, with participation from Oak HC/FT, 8VC and Y Combinator. The company said the latest investment triples its valuation compared with its Series C financing completed in February 2025.
The platform is designed to automate key parts of the medical billing and insurance claims process. Candid continuously reviews claims, checks billing information and automatically corrects errors before submission, with the aim of reducing administrative work and helping providers receive reimbursement more quickly. By rebuilding revenue cycle infrastructure around automation rather than adding AI tools to legacy systems, the company says it can improve collections while lowering operating costs for healthcare organizations.
Candid plans to use the new capital to expand its technology and support a growing customer base of healthcare providers across the United States. The company is positioning its platform as a replacement for fragmented billing workflows that often rely on manual review, disconnected software and large administrative teams. As financial pressure increases across the healthcare sector, providers are increasingly looking to AI systems that can reduce claim denials, improve billing accuracy and shorten payment timelines.
The funding also reflects continued investor interest in AI-driven revenue cycle management. Candid previously raised $52 million in a Series C round, bringing its total funding at the time to $99.5 million, after securing $29 million in Series B financing the previous year. Competitors including Commure and Adonis have also attracted substantial investment, highlighting growing demand for technologies that help providers modernize their financial operations and manage increasingly complex reimbursement processes.
