Innovaccer Buys CaduceusHealth to Expand AI Revenue Cycle Platform for 4,000 Providers

Innovaccer has acquired the assets of CaduceusHealth to expand its AI-powered Flow platform into a full-stack revenue cycle management solution for ambulatory care providers. The deal brings CaduceusHealth’s operational network and decades of billing expertise into Innovaccer’s infrastructure, adding support for nearly 4,000 providers and approximately $5 billion in annual patient charges. By combining scheduling, patient engagement, billing and denial management into a single AI-native platform, Innovaccer aims to streamline administrative operations and reduce the financial strain facing independent and multispecialty practices.

The acquisition directly targets one of healthcare’s biggest operational challenges: insurance claim denials and revenue leakage. Industry estimates suggest that nearly $20 billion is lost each year due to avoidable denials, many of which are never appealed because billing teams lack the time and resources to manage them manually. By integrating CaduceusHealth’s 30 years of specialty coding data and localized payer rules, Innovaccer’s platform is designed to predict denial risks before claims are submitted, automate appeals and improve reimbursement efficiency at scale.

The expanded Flow platform operates as an AI-driven workflow layer that connects front-end intake, clinical documentation and back-office revenue cycle tasks. Features include automated insurance eligibility checks, real-time coding support based on payer requirements and autonomous claim resubmission workflows. More broadly, the move reflects growing demand for AI-enabled operational infrastructure in healthcare as providers look to reduce administrative burden, improve margins and shift more resources toward patient care.
