Inspiren has raised $70 million in Series C funding to expand its AI-powered senior care platform, bringing the company's total funding to $225 million and its valuation to more than $500 million. NewView Capital led the round, with participation from investors including Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners and Avenir Growth Capital.
The company provides an ambient intelligence platform designed for assisted living and senior care communities. Inspiren combines sensors, artificial intelligence and clinical support to continuously monitor residents and help care teams identify potential safety or health concerns. The technology can detect falls and emergencies, automate care documentation and provide staff with greater visibility into residents' needs without relying solely on periodic in-person checks.
Inspiren plans to use the new funding to accelerate its commercial expansion while continuing to develop both its hardware and AI capabilities. The company is particularly focused on improving its ability to detect, predict and respond to events within senior living communities, potentially allowing caregivers to intervene earlier when changes in residents' behavior or health indicate increased risk.
The technology addresses a significant challenge in senior care, where falls remain one of the leading causes of injury among older adults. More than 14 million Americans aged 65 and older report falling each year, while approximately three million visit emergency departments and nearly one million are hospitalized because of falls. AI-powered monitoring could help care facilities identify incidents more quickly while also detecting behavioral patterns that may indicate increasing fall risk.
The funding follows rapid capital growth for Inspiren, which raised $100 million in Series B financing last year after completing a $35 million Series A in early 2025. Its expansion comes amid broader investment in AI-enabled senior care, with companies such as SafelyYou and CarePredict also developing monitoring, fall detection and predictive technologies for aging populations.
