Labcorp has partnered with Thrive Global to launch the Thrive 5 Health Test, a consumer-focused diagnostic offering that combines cardiometabolic health measurements with personalized lifestyle recommendations. Available through Labcorp OnDemand, the test aims to help individuals better understand their health risks and translate laboratory results into practical daily habits that support long-term wellbeing.
The Thrive 5 Health Test focuses on five indicators associated with cardiovascular and metabolic health: apolipoprotein B (ApoB), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), blood pressure and body mass index (BMI). Together, these measurements provide information about cholesterol-related cardiovascular risk, inflammation, blood glucose control, hypertension and weight-related health risks.
Consumers can purchase the test through Labcorp OnDemand and complete the required blood draw at participating Labcorp Patient Service Centers across the United States. Results are delivered through Labcorp's digital platforms, including its patient portal and MyLabcorp mobile application, alongside educational information and personalized recommendations intended to make the findings easier to understand and act upon.
A central component of the offering is Thrive Global's behavior change methodology, which emphasizes small, manageable lifestyle adjustments rather than major changes to daily routines. Through its Thrive Microsteps approach, users receive recommendations across five areas: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and social connection. The goal is to connect objective health measurements with practical behaviors that may help improve cardiometabolic health over time.
The collaboration also supports communication between consumers and healthcare providers by organizing results into summaries that can be discussed during primary care appointments. Labcorp and Thrive Global aim to bridge the gap between diagnostic testing and preventive health management, helping individuals use biomarker insights to make more informed decisions about their health.
