Mira, a provider of at-home hormone monitoring solutions, has partnered with researchers at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Kinesiology to validate the performance of the Mira Hormone Monitor. The study aims to establish Mira’s technology as a reliable and accurate tool for women’s health, comparable to the gold-standard ultrasound for ovulation tracking.
The Mira Hormone Monitor is the first FDA-compliant at-home device with a fluorescent detector, allowing users to track four key hormone levels (FSH, LH, E3G, and PdG) in their urine. This clinical-grade technology provides personalized insights into menstrual cycles and hormonal health. By comparing Mira’s hormone measurements to ultrasound results, the research seeks to enhance trust in at-home hormone testing, empower women with valuable data, and support clinical decision-making for reproductive health management.
Following the study and pending Health Canada approval, Mira plans to introduce its hormone monitor to the Canadian market, expanding access to innovative hormonal health tracking.
