NVIDIA-Powered Digital Twin Platform Debuts for Advanced Respiratory Diagnostics

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has introduced an AI-powered digital twin platform designed to support lung navigation, surgical planning and respiratory diagnostics. Built in collaboration with NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, the platform combines advanced medical imaging, AI-driven diagnostics and connected healthcare technologies to create highly detailed 3D digital models of the lungs from CT scans. The system allows clinicians to visualize patient-specific anatomy—including airways, blood vessels, lung lobes and lesions—and simulate procedures such as bronchoscopy and biopsy planning in a more immersive and precise environment.

The platform integrates directly into existing CT imaging workflows and uses deep learning models to automate segmentation and anatomical mapping. Powered by technologies such as NVIDIA Omniverse, TensorRT and MONAI, the system supports interactive visualization, high-speed AI inference and advanced image analysis. By transforming static scans into dynamic digital twins, clinicians can better analyze anatomical relationships, plan interventions and navigate minimally invasive procedures with greater accuracy and confidence.

LTTS says the platform is designed to improve procedural safety, reduce pre-operative planning time and support more personalized approaches to respiratory care. As conditions such as lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease continue to rise globally, the company sees digital twin technology as part of a broader shift toward predictive and simulation-driven medicine. More broadly, the launch highlights growing interest in applying AI and digital twin technologies to precision healthcare and complex clinical decision-making.
