Quantum Health Integrates Scripta to Add Prescription Cost Guidance

Quantum Health is expanding its pharmacy navigation capabilities through a new partnership with Scripta Insights, aiming to help employers and members better manage rising prescription drug costs. By integrating Scripta’s savings and guidance technology into its existing healthcare navigation platform, Quantum will enable users to identify clinically appropriate, lower-cost medication alternatives while staying within their current health benefit workflows. The integration is designed to work across different pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) arrangements and plan structures, making it easier for organizations to adopt without overhauling existing systems.

The combined platform will offer a range of tools to improve visibility and decision-making around prescription use, including cost comparisons, identification of savings opportunities, outreach related to biosimilars and therapeutic alternatives, and reporting capabilities for employers tracking pharmacy spend. It also enhances engagement with both members and prescribers, helping guide more cost-effective choices while maintaining clinical appropriateness. This builds on Quantum’s existing focus on care coordination by extending similar navigation principles into the pharmacy space, where costs have become an increasingly significant share of overall healthcare spending.

The partnership also strengthens Quantum’s use of analytics and targeted outreach, particularly for members using high-cost or specialty medications. Employers will gain deeper insights into utilization patterns and spending trends, while members receive more personalized guidance on prescription options. More broadly, the move reflects a growing trend among healthcare navigation companies to integrate pharmacy optimization, clinical decision support and cost management into a unified experience, as employers seek more comprehensive solutions to control healthcare expenses.
