Resbiotic Launches At-Home Gut Health Test With Tiny Health

Resbiotic has partnered with Tiny Health to launch an at-home gut microbiome testing kit designed to provide consumers with a more detailed view of digestive and metabolic health. The resbiotic Gut Health Test uses shotgun metagenomics sequencing, a research-grade approach commonly used in clinical and academic settings, to analyze stool samples and generate personalized reports on microbiome diversity, inflammation markers, gut permeability and key bacterial strains linked to overall health. The test is processed through CLIA- and CAP-certified laboratories, with results delivered within several weeks through a digital report.

Unlike more generalized wellness tests, the platform is designed to connect microbiome insights with actionable health recommendations. Using resbiotic’s proprietary “Gut-X Axis” framework, the report maps how gut health may influence broader systems such as metabolism, immunity and inflammation. Consumers also receive guidance on nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle adjustments, along with recommendations tied to resbiotic’s existing microbiome-focused supplement portfolio. The test is available directly to consumers without requiring a clinical visit and is eligible for HSA and FSA spending.

The launch reflects growing consumer interest in personalized gut health and microbiome-based wellness tools, as companies increasingly look to translate research-driven diagnostics into at-home healthcare products. By combining advanced sequencing technology with personalized interpretation and follow-up recommendations, resbiotic and Tiny Health aim to make microbiome testing more accessible and actionable outside traditional clinical environments.
