Suki Extends Partnership with Austin Regional Clinic

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) has expanded its partnership with Suki to deploy the company's ambient clinical intelligence platform across all 40 of its locations serving 15 communities in Central Texas. The enterprise-wide rollout extends AI-powered documentation and workflow support throughout ARC's multispecialty practice, which provides primary, specialty and surgical care to more than 700,000 patients. The move reflects growing adoption of ambient AI technologies as healthcare organizations look to reduce administrative burdens and improve clinical efficiency.

Suki's platform uses artificial intelligence to listen to conversations between clinicians and patients, automatically generating clinical documentation that can be reviewed and added to the electronic health record. The system also recommends medical codes, supports voice dictation and enables clinicians to complete routine tasks through voice commands, including retrieving patient information and drafting referrals. By automating documentation and administrative work, the platform is designed to reduce time spent on paperwork while allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care.

According to the organizations, the expanded deployment has already contributed to improvements in coding accuracy, clinician efficiency and AI adoption across ARC's network. Beyond documentation, both companies see opportunities for ambient AI to improve broader operational performance by supporting more accurate reimbursement, streamlining clinical workflows and enhancing the overall provider experience. ARC and Suki said they plan to continue identifying additional ways to expand the partnership and apply AI across the organization.

The announcement follows a series of recent growth initiatives for Suki as demand for ambient AI continues to accelerate across the healthcare industry. Earlier this year, the company expanded its deployment with Rush University System for Health, became athenahealth's preferred ambient AI partner and strengthened its executive leadership team with new product and finance appointments. These developments underscore the increasing role of AI-powered clinical assistants in helping health systems improve documentation, reduce administrative workloads and optimize financial and operational performance.
