Thriva, a personal diagnostics and health platform, has announced a nationwide partnership with Superdrug Health Clinics, spanning over two years. The collaboration will bring Thriva's diagnostic testing to Superdrug clinics across the country.
Through this partnership, Superdrug will incorporate Thriva's health diagnostics into its in-clinic health testing services. Customers will have access to personalised health reports and advice from GPs based on their test results, facilitated by the Thriva Solutions platform. This initiative will expand the availability of health diagnostics to a broader audience.
Superdrug customers will have a wide range of health test kits to choose from, including Thriva's newly launched antibody tests for chickenpox, Hepatitis B, and MMR.
Chloe Anderson, Head of Healthcare Services at Superdrug, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that Superdrug's Health Clinics have been providing leading and accessible healthcare services to customers for the past 14 years. Collaborating with Thriva will enable the clinics to offer even more comprehensive health testing to their patients.
Thriva Solutions, the platform introduced by Thriva, enables healthcare organisations to deliver diagnostics on a large scale. Through the platform's online booking tool, Superdrug will provide a venous draw service to customers. This service allows customers to purchase a health testing kit and book a blood test remotely with the assistance of a nurse.
The objective is to help individuals gain a better understanding of their physical health. By receiving guidance from NHS-registered GPs, people will be supported in making informed decisions about their health and lifestyle choices. Ultimately, Thriva Solutions aims to assist individuals in identifying early warning signs of diseases, leading to positive lifestyle changes.
Hamish Gierson, CEO and co-founder of Thriva, described the partnership with Superdrug as a significant milestone for the company. By expanding their reach through diagnostic solutions and leveraging Superdrug's presence on the British high street, Thriva aims to greatly enhance accessibility to health testing.
Superdrug has previously collaborated with My Online Therapy during the pandemic to increase access to mental health services.
