UltraSight Raises $24 Million to Expand AI-Guided Cardiac Ultrasound

UltraSight has raised $24 million in Series B2 financing to expand its AI-guided cardiac ultrasound technology across U.S. health systems and develop workflows for intensive care and mechanical circulatory support settings.

The company will use the financing to increase adoption of the UltraSight Echosystem, which is currently deployed across more than 10 commercial sites. The FDA 510(k)-cleared platform uses real-time computer vision guidance and visual prompts to help non-sonographer clinicians, including ICU nurses, hospitalists and emergency physicians, acquire standard echocardiography views under physician oversight.

UltraSight is also developing specialized workflows for environments involving ventricular assist devices and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, where rapid cardiac imaging can inform clinical interventions. Its approach separates image acquisition from interpretation, using AI to guide probe positioning while retaining physicians' role in interpreting scans.

The financing follows clinical evidence published in JAMA Cardiology in August 2026. In the study, novice operators using UltraSight's AI guidance acquired images used for automated detection of moderate-or-greater aortic stenosis. The approach achieved 93% sensitivity and 96% specificity, supporting the potential for frontline clinicians to capture diagnostic-quality cardiac imaging windows.

UltraSight also announced several governance changes. Rick Geoffrion, who has more than 30 years of medical device experience spanning interventional cardiology and mechanical circulatory support, has been appointed Chairman of the Board. Dudi Klein, Tal Wenderow and Barak Ben-Eliezer have joined as board members.

“We are entering this next stage as our FDA-cleared portfolio continues to expand to support broader cardiac imaging workflows,” said Davidi Vortman, CEO and Co-Founder of UltraSight. “This financing will help our efforts to translate that momentum into wider market adoption, deeper strategic collaborations and greater access to high-quality cardiac ultrasound – expediting care for patients who simply cannot afford to wait.”

The company plans to use its expanded commercial footprint and engineering investment to address cardiac imaging access in acute and community settings where specialized sonographer coverage may be limited.
