Walmart Expands Better Care Services with Twin Health, Curai Health, Wheel, Berry Street and Aaptiv to Broaden GLP-1 Access

Walmart has expanded its Better Care Services platform to include a broader set of digital health providers aimed at improving access to obesity and weight management support, including GLP-1 therapies. The updated platform now integrates services from Twin Health, Curai Health, Wheel, Berry Street and Aaptiv, each contributing distinct capabilities across virtual care, nutrition, and fitness.

The expansion introduces a multi-faceted approach to weight management. Aaptiv provides personalized fitness programs, including GLP-1 companion content and nutrition resources, while Berry Street connects users with registered dietitians for medical nutrition therapy. Curai Health contributes an AI-enabled virtual clinic offering dietitian services, cognitive support, and personalized coaching.

Through Walmart’s collaboration with Curai Health, customers not enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid can access Curai’s GLP-1 weight-loss offering at no cost from April 15 through July 31, including clinician visits. From August 1, services will transition to a subscription model priced at $29 per month for both virtual care and weight management support.

For individuals already using GLP-1 medications, Walmart has incorporated MyCare by Twin Health, which focuses on long-term metabolic health and weight maintenance. Walmart stated, "MyCare provides real-time, personalized insights into how food, sleep and activity affect the body. Paired with a dedicated care team to provide clinical support, these insights help people adapt as their bodies change and build sustainable habits for lasting weight loss and optimal health."

Additionally, the Wheel platform enables access to providers trained in obesity management without requiring a subscription. Patients can schedule telehealth visits with pricing set at $99 for initial consultations and $35 for follow-ups, including ongoing monitoring and medication management.

All prescriptions are fulfilled through Walmart Pharmacy, complemented by access to the Walmart Everyday Health Signal’s Nutrition Hub, which offers guidance on food choices and healthy habits. The company also noted, "Walmart is also launching a redesigned GLP-1 digital destination on Walmart.com, helping customers explore related products and services, and find medically reviewed nutrition guidance."

The expansion builds on Walmart’s broader healthcare strategy, including prior collaborations with Eli Lilly to offer discounted GLP-1 medications and investments in pharmacy services such as same-day prescription delivery.
