Talent Strategy for Digital Health Innovation in Pharma

About this Meeting

Digital Health Lunch: Managing Talent for Digital Health Transformation

Within organisations people and their skills are a key element to the adoption and success of digital health initiatives. Covid-19 has accelerated changes in both workplace practices and digital health utilisation. Organisations and leaders involved in the wider healthcare ecosystem are managing both of these dynamics with their teams. We are bringing together a small group of leaders from industry who are each responsible for talent and digital health innovation to share their experiences to date and learn from each other as we all try to capitalize on the opportunity digital health provides for improving health outcomes.

Talking points

  • The pros and cons of using 3rd party support, upskilling internal talent, acquiring new talent as part of a digital health strategy.

  •
  • Considerations for structuring remote working teams, hiring new talent who will work remotely into organisations with a strong bias to centralised, in-person team structures.

  •
  • What are the different organizational structures in pharma digital innovation teams? What are the tradeoffs and prerequisites of each? E.g., One centralized digital innovation team sitting outside traditional functions such as Commercial or Medical vs. smaller digital teams within Commercial and Medical coordinating with each other etc.
