H1 and Novo Nordisk have announced a strategic partnership focused on advancing clinical development through artificial intelligence, with the aim of improving how clinical trials are designed, managed, and executed. The collaboration will combine H1’s AI-powered platform and proprietary healthcare data with Novo Nordisk’s existing digital and AI capabilities to create AI-ready datasets and clinical development workflows intended to support more efficient research operations.
Under the agreement, Novo Nordisk will use H1’s technology to strengthen several aspects of clinical trial execution, including study design, site selection, and patient enrollment. The companies expect these capabilities to help reduce development timelines by enabling more informed decisions throughout the clinical development process.
As part of the collaboration, H1 will also acquire the rights to further develop StudyHub, Novo Nordisk’s digital and AI-enabled platform for clinical development. The platform will continue to evolve as part of H1’s broader portfolio supporting life sciences organisations with AI-driven clinical research capabilities.
