Medable has introduced its Agentic Accelerator Program, a new initiative designed to help life sciences companies and contract research organizations implement agentic artificial intelligence across clinical development processes.
The program provides onboarding, integration support, governance frameworks and change management services intended to help organizations realize value from AI agents more quickly. Medable said the offering addresses a common challenge in the industry, where AI adoption has often remained limited despite growing interest in the technology.
According to the company, only 22% of life sciences leaders have successfully scaled AI across their organizations, with even fewer applying it broadly to clinical development. Medable aims to close that gap by combining technology deployment with dedicated support from clinical development specialists and forward-deployed engineers.
The Agentic Accelerator Program is designed to help organizations implement both standard and customized AI-powered workflows on Medable’s platform. Customers receive guidance on deployment and scaling strategies while maintaining oversight of proprietary processes and data.
Michelle Longmire, CEO and co-founder of Medable, highlighted the potential impact of agentic AI on clinical research operations. She said: "Agentic AI is the productivity leverage that bends the time/cost curve of today’s clinical trials. Customers want rapid time to value while also ensuring protection of their proprietary agentic clinical development strategy."
She added: "To achieve this, customers need a partner with industry expertise, a fit-for-purpose agentic platform, and a willingness to put skin in the game on the outcomes. Companies that want results choose Medable because it’s the fastest path to scalable agentic transformation for clinical trials."
The program is available to users of Medable Agent Studio, the company’s agentic AI platform for clinical development. Agent Studio enables sponsors and CROs to deploy AI agents across clinical workflows through features that include no-code agent creation, human-in-the-loop oversight, compliance controls, AI governance tools and integration capabilities across clinical and enterprise systems.
Medable said the platform is designed to support automation while maintaining transparency, auditability and regulatory alignment. The company’s broader strategy focuses on applying agentic AI throughout the clinical development lifecycle, from protocol initiation through study close-out.
The announcement reflects growing industry efforts to operationalize AI technologies in drug development and clinical research, with organizations increasingly seeking practical pathways to implementation and measurable return on investment.
